It’s hard to believe that Rhydian Roberts and his peroxide blonde hair first illuminated our screens 15 years ago.
The Welsh singer Samvedan auditioned for The X Factor in her final year of university in 2007 and was an instant hit with audiences for her sleek style and shiny hair.
In 2018, Ridian explained in Luz Women, “I had it all at university but it wasn’t so white,” he jokingly explained as a “Philip Schofield Tribute Act.”
He continued: “I remember when I was at X Factor, Simon Cowell kept saying, ‘No, no, it needs to be whitewashed,’ so he really damaged my hair. All this maintenance is not health.”
Her full theatrical narrative from The Phantom of the Opera forced Celine Dion to say that she was “in a different league” and that she was the favorite to win the series.
But he was portrayed as a villain, Rydian later claimed that Simon told him: “Rydian, yes we are portraying you as a villain, but they did it to me.”

Rhydian finished second to somewhat controversial winner Leon Jackson, but was still offered a recording deal by Simon.
“I had a great time, it was a whirlwind,” he said. “I was even surprised to get to the final two because of the nature of the voice. It’s a pop show. “
Her debut album, titled ‘Rhydian’, gained platinum status in November 2008 and sold 600,000 copies, earning her the title of best-selling male solo artist of the year.
He performed in front of more than 30,000 spectators at Andrew Lloyd Webber’s 60th birthday party in Hyde Park, and Prince Charles invited him to be a patron of the Prince’s Trust.
After the tour, Rhydian released his second album ‘O Fortuna’ and recorded his own television special for the Welsh broadcaster S4C, followed by the documentary ‘Rhydian’.
In addition to releasing music, Ridian was obviously hitting the gym because he was incredibly torn.
The Welsh singer was a powerlifter and a powerful bench presser at school but he rarely showed his buff physique until a photoshoot in 2015.

Rhydian shows off his incredible body on the steamy shirtless snap – including his wavy play and bullying biceps on the show.
In 2018, Rhydian opened his mouth about fighting his body image in the past.
“I came back to the university. I guess you would call it body dysmorphia, ”she explained in 2018 about loose women. “It simply came to our notice then.
The same is true of men. I don’t think it’s bad at all. When I was muscular, you were never big enough or big enough, whatever.
“It’s not that important now, and the older you get, the more acceptable you become.”
After releasing two classical crossover albums, Rydian decided to change his wording for his 2011 album ‘Waves’.
“My first two albums were classical crossovers and did very, very well,” he told Wales Online. “But I went to X Factor to be a pop star, not an opera star, and it’s great to have the opportunity to record an album like this.”

Rydian admits that he will always be happy to be associated with the TV show that made him famous.
“I am very proud of what I have achieved at X Factor. I’m a showman and it gave me the opportunity to do a show. I really want to perform in an open-air concert, I like to do a show, ”he explained.
“But I hope people enjoy this album. It shows me a different side and what I can do. “
Rhydian joined the cast of the West End musical ‘We Will Rock You’ in 2011, appearing on Pantomime Aladdin, ‘Hee Rocky Horror Show’ and a touring production of Jesus Christ Superstar and Little Shop of Horror.
However, Rhydian seems to have moved away from performing in recent years and is now working away from the limelight.
In addition to describing himself as an “X-Factor legend” in his Twitter bio, Rydian revealed that he works for an entertainment management company.
Her new role as an artist manager and promoter of stars including Annie Dream Will Do winner Lee Mead, Iranian-Canadian West End actor Rami Karimlu, actress Samantha Barks and pop band UB40.
Rhydian certainly keeps himself busy because he further states that he is a property developer and investor.

For her love life, Rydian explained that she put her career ahead of any relationship in 2007.
“I don’t want to sound like an instrument, but I’ve always been so focused on what I do that I don’t have much time for anything else,” he told Mail Online.
“I always wanted to be the best I could be. Most of my time I am either training my voice, doing gym or performing.
“It may come as an obsession, but I believe that if you want something in life, you have to work on it. You have to accept the sacrifice.”
But after he met in 2016, he began a relationship with girlfriend Lisel and became the honest father of his son.
Explaining that it was nice but challenging, Rhydian said in 2018: I love it, you have to be completely selfless. Just gorgeous to see its development.
“She hates to sing to me. I practice at home and he says, ‘Dad, Dad, stop singing.’

Earlier this year, there was speculation that Rydian was taking part in The Masked Singer.
The audience believed in the “strong theatrical operative voice” and the Welsh Twang.
One person tweeted: “I last told Alice Jones but I guess she’s not him, maybe someone as small as Rhydian”.
“The #MaskedSingerUK traffic cone is Rhydian from X Factor,” another stressed.
Although it has been proven that the traffic cone, which was voted in the double elimination, is actually the classical star Aled Jones.
Rhydian probably welcomed the comparison with the Walking in the Air singer, but he tweeted “walking” and a tearful smile emoji in response to speculation that he was under a mask.
