WrestleMania 38 preview: 2pm at AT&T Stadium

Saturday’s WrestleMania festivities are in full swing. Stone Cold Steve Austin and Cody Rhodes received overwhelming response from the crowd, and now it’s on Night 2. Like Saturday, Sunday’s event piled up from top to bottom. The new tradition seems to be moving forward with the two-night event.

Without further ado, here is a preview of the second day of WrestleMania at the AT&T Stadium.

Match # 1: Quinn Jelena and Carmella (c) vs. Sasha Banks vs. Naomi vs. Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan vs. Natalia vs. Shayna Baszler – Deadly Four-Way Tag Team Match for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship

Highlighting the depth of the WWE women’s division, WrestleMania will look to open two nights with another women’s championship match. There will be four women’s tag teams in this match. Queen Jelena and Carmella are doing great work as tag team champions. They are clever and selfish and fans like to hate them. They really play the role of a heel team. In this match, you have three athletic teams, each deserving of the title. It should be a perfect match for a true champion.

Instead, a pin will complete the task of reading or submitting and crowning the new champions. Sasha and Naomi are no strangers to each other because they have been together before. Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan have recently had success as a team. Natalya and Shayna will act as match veterans and will look to destroy each team with their submission skills. Fatal four-way matches are unexpected, and fans will enjoy this powerful opener.

Winners: (and new) Women’s Tag Team Champion – Sasha Banks and Naomi (Team Boss Glow)

Match # 2: Johnny Knoxville vs. Sami Zine

This second celebrity match has been set up since January 2022 WWE has done an amazing job promoting Johnny Knoxville’s movie “Jacques Forever”. WWE sends Sami Zine to the premiere. The feud erupted when Jane and Knoxville verbally abused each other on Twitter. The buildup of this match has been well run on social media. Knoxville even kept Jane’s cell phone number all over the internet.

Zine is considered the Mick Foley of the modern age. He is a strong worker and knows how to promote a match with his promotion skills and performance. Look for lots of debauchery and lots of foreign objects in this match; “Anything goes” is the tag line of this match. Whatever the outcome of this match, Zine is getting attention.

Winner: Johnny Knoxville

Match # 3: Pat McAfee vs. Austin Theory

This is the sleeper match of the night. Pat McAfee is a former NFL Pro Bowl punter with some experience in the ring. Austin Theory is the next up-and-coming star, and Vince McMahon’s favorite. If you haven’t seen McAfee compete in WWE’s developmental brand, NXT, you’ll get a treat.

Both competitors will look to steal the show and come out on top. “The Pat McAfee Show” is one of the most popular sports shows of today, so it’s no secret why WWE is giving McAfee a match at WrestleMania. With excellent cross-promotions from both WWE and McAfee, a lot of sports media attention will surround this match. Just like the previous match, it would raise a new star in theory.

Winner: Pat McAfee

Match # 4: RK-Bro (Randy Orton & Riddle) (c) vs. The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montage Ford) vs. Alpha Academy (Chad Gable & Otis) – Triple Threat Tag Team Match for WW Tag Team

This match will be a historic match for Randy Orton. Mr. RKO will travel to WrestleMania on Sunday as the only wrestler in history to walk into each of the singles WWE Championships. First ballot Hall of Famer, Orton is now playing an experienced mentorship role to former UFC competitor Matt Riddle. The RK-Bro team has breathed a sigh of relief for the tag-team division. At first, Orton didn’t like the interaction with Riddle. But over time, Orton began to like his partner, and they were doing great as a team. They will play against two former tag team champions The Street Profits and Alpha Academy. Watch a beautiful tag team match at this place on the card. The reign of the champions will continue for a few more months.

Winners: (And still) WWE Raw Tag Team Champions- RK-Bro

Match # 5: Edge vs. AJ style

Edge vs AJ Styles dream match will see the show steal on Sunday. These two business legends will be split for the first time! Stiles is one of the best wrestlers on the planet, and Edge is the ultimate opportunist Since returning to Edge Wrestling in 2020, he has built a mission to wrestle the best competitors in today’s WWE. The clash of styles will be worth watching because it will be a battle. This will be the “Match of the Night” and the potential match of the candidate of the year. This match could also open the PPV because WWE prefers to start strong. Keep an eye out for a lot of action and false finishing in this match. Expect a lasting reception at the end.

Winner: AJ Styles

Match # 6: Bobby Lashley vs. Omos

WWE will probably put this match in the co-main event position after the amazing match between AJ and Edge. Bobby Lashley, a former champion, will look to make his return easier as he seeks to destroy the giant Omos. This match had very little buildup but will probably show the strength of both competitors. It will be a quick match and I look forward to Lashley winning so he can focus his attention on the WWE title later this year (probably a future rematch with a guy named Brock Lesnar) who is heading to WrestleMania on Sunday. Only time will tell.

Winner: Bobby Lashley

Match # 7 (Main Event) Brock Lesnar (WWE Champion) vs. Roman Raines (Universal Champion) (with Paul Heyman) – WWE Championship and WWE Universal Championship Unification Match

This event will not be the most “extraordinary” event except for the elite athletes in the main event. Brock Lesnar and Roman Raines are the top stars in all wrestling. On the one hand, you have “The Beast” Brock Lesnar, who has been showing a more fun-loving side to himself lately. Fans are embracing the new Lesnar because he is smiling and talking more. Lesnar’s biggest draw in all fighting games, and that’s exactly it.

In the other corner, you have the main attraction, “the chief of the tribe.” Raines has solidified himself as the top draw in wrestling. Whenever you put Roman’s name in the marquee, he sells the arena.

This will be the third fight between Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. This is by far the biggest and best matchup on the card since they put together their title. Looks like WWE will only want to see one major champion to perform. Combining the two championships means the champion will travel further. Therefore, the logical choice for this matchup is Roman Raines. It also sets up a potential mega-dream match at next year’s WrestleMania with his cousin Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The tribal chief will see to it that his dominion continues. They are promoting the Roman Empire as “a great level of greatness.”

Winner: Roman Raines – Undisputed WWE Champion
