Warner Music Group is relocating its Canadian businesses to The Well, a newly built building in downtown Toronto.
Beginning in March 2023, WMG staff at Warner Music Canada, Warner Chapel Music Canada and Sodatone (a predictive A&R and marketing intelligence platform) will move to the new office, which will include a recording studio, performance space, and writing room. . The transfer comes as part of WMG’s Future of Work project, which aims to improve the company’s office space worldwide and better align with hybrid work models.
Located at 410 Front Street West in downtown Toronto, The Well “offers a comprehensive collection of premium and innovative retail, commercial, dining and wellness businesses as well as office and residential space,” a press release said. The WMG companies will be based on the second floor, with accessible offices across the street boasting 20-foot ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows. The building is LEED (Energy and Environmental Design Leadership) certified, meaning it “adheres to recognized standards in areas such as carbon, energy, water, waste, transportation, materials, health and internal environmental quality”.
