Watch Thunder vs Sun: How Live Streams, TV Channels, Start Time for Sunday

Who is playing

Phoenix @ Oklahoma City

Current record: Phoenix 62-15; Oklahoma City 22-55

What to know

The Oklahoma City Thunder are on the wrong side of a one-sided contest with the Phoenix Sons and expect to record their first win since January 27 last year. Oklahoma City will host again and welcome Phoenix to the Pecum Center, where the tip-off is scheduled for 7 pm ET Sunday. Given that both teams lost their last game, they both have some extra inspiration in this game.

The OKC came up short this past Friday against the Detroit Pistons, falling 110-101. Despite the defeat, Thunder got a solid performance outside of point guard Theo Maledon, who had 28 points and six assists in addition to six boards.

Meanwhile, the Suns went down 122-114 against the Memphis Grizzlies last Friday. Shooting guard Devin Booker made a good effort for the losing side with 41 points.

Oklahoma City need to know that they will fight an uphill battle against a 14.50 point spread. Now may not be the best time to take Oklahoma City against the spread as they have come down to bet for the last two games in a row.

Oklahoma City now sits 22-55 and Phoenix 62-15. To keep an eye on a pair of offensive stats: OKC were able to score 42.90% of their shots, the lowest field goal percentage in the league. The Sons have more to boast about, as they enter the competition with a 48.80% field goal percentage, the best in the league. We’ll see if their 5.90% advantage translates to victory.
