Tom Parker of The Wanted is described as a “bright light that was soon taken away from us”, a journalist who describes important moments in the singer’s life, such as her wedding.

Recalling the memory of a father of two, Carstie said: “He had a golden heart and lived a full life with a contagious power and a matching personality. He had incredible strength and positivity. “
The reporter describes Tom and Kelsey meeting for lunch to hear about their wedding plans, where their love for each other was evident.
“They really were the definition of soul mates. They even told me how they knew they were going to get married from the moment they came back in 2009, “he said.

The couple got married in a glittering ceremony in Surrey in July 2018, starring bandmates Max George and Jay McGuinness as Usher.
Tom, Max and Jay Serenade Kelsey with The Wanted’s Ballad Heart Vacancy, while dancer Kelsey performed a routine with her friends for Beyonc ক’s Crazy In Love.
Surrounded by loved ones, the pair then sang the hit Glad You Come Together.

He also recalled the Kirsty couple visiting their home in south-east London in the early 2020s to interview Tom, who was expecting their second child, Bodhi, to diagnose glioblastoma.
Although his appearance was changed, his strength and positive attitude were still evident, Tom reiterated his intention to fight the disease.
Kelsey was described as an indomitable supporter of Tom, who was diagnosed with Tom’s condition and focused on positive stories from people who had lived for more than 25 years.

Last night, Tom was remembered in the Grammy in Memory section.
Many stars were honored tonight in tribute, including Fu Fighter drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died recently, as well as music legend Stephen Soundheim, who died in November 2021.

During the segment, Tom was shown on screen, where Ben Platt, Cynthia Arevo, Leslie Odom Jr., and Rachel Ziegler sang a medal of the Soundheim song to pay tribute to the missing stars this year.
Tom’s bandmates, along with fellow celebrities, paid tribute to the singer.
Max George says in an Instagram post that Tom’s death has created a huge hole in his life.
He writes: “Max writes:” Tom, my brother, my son, my band mate, my best bud .. You have enlightened many lives around the world but I can only speak for myself. From the moment I met you, I knew it was going to be a special chapter in my life. I was right. “
