James Van der Beck has revealed that his sixth child was surprised because he and his wife Kimberly Brook are no longer trying to have children.
The Dawson Creek star, 45, welcomed the number six child with his second wife in November, a pair already with the proud parents of Olivia, 11, Joshua, 10, Annabelle, 8, Emilia, 6, and three-year-old Goendolin.
And despite not planning a sixth child, the actor thanked God for blessing the couple with baby Remy.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday night, James shared a photo of an election to keep the young man in love.
In the first picture, James is seen kissing Tot’s head as he looks at the sunrise.
He captioned the post: “Thank God for the surprise. For walking. For that time the universe heard my plan and said: ‘Yes, it’s beautiful … try it’.

“We weren’t trying for more kids. We’re done. But fortunately, these little angels knew better.
“And when I hold him, I’m reminded of the benevolent power there, probably smiling at my agenda and waiting for an upgraded reality to toss my” transparency. ”
She ends the sweet post: “Thank God for the surprise … and thank God we’re sucking because we’re not pregnant.”
James had previously revealed that 40-year-old Kimberly had suffered multiple miscarriages due to a weak uterus after becoming pregnant.
The couple married 11 years ago after meeting in Israel in 2009.
They announced the birth of Remy in a sweet Instagram post that is lying on her father.
James wrote at the time: “Humble and happy to announce the safe, happy arrival of Jeremiah van der Beek (we call him Remy, btw – not” dinosaur “),” he began.
He continued to talk openly about the couple’s last two pregnancies, which led to a heartbreak due to the loss of a late pregnancy.

“Everyone we’ve lost has given us different pieces of the puzzle. We can enjoy this sweet, wise little one by being so grateful for the ongoing master class.
“(Ps – to everyone in our community – both local and extended – who knew about our journey and respected our desire for privacy – thank you. May that honor and karma come back to you all 1000-times) Life is beautiful.”
