Job Description

• As part of the Cloud Quality and Reliability team you will be responsible for testing, tool development and test automation for the Zscaler Big Data platform and Analytics services.
• Design and develop test plans for Zscaler’s Cloud Logging and Reporting Big Data Platform.
• Create programs / scripts using Python to develop test automation.
• Design, develop and extend automated test structures.
• Debugging and troubleshooting issues between Zscaler products running on the Unix system.
• Troubleshoot and set plans and provide technical advice in Zscaler engineering projects design, development and testing efforts that involve in-depth knowledge of computer networking and HTTP (s).
• Review product specifications and write test cases, create test plans for designated areas.
• Identifies problems and technical interdependencies and suggests possible solutions.
• Assist in the development and distribution of training of cross-functional teams.
• Rebuild complex customer and product reporting issues in QA Lab.
• Zscaler is responsible for bringing the requirements of cloud service monitors and automating them.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3+ years experience in QA and test automation in networking and / or big data domains.
• Experienced in automation framework development and test automation.
• Experience in Big Data Platform and Data Analysis tests is preferred.
• Proficiency in Python for test automation and tool development
• Strong understanding and knowledge about TCP / IP, HTTP (s).
• Insights into Unix systems, computer networking, database systems, and query languages.
• Experienced in Unix shell commands and shell scripts.
• Very good debugging and problem solving skills.
• Hands on quality and enthusiastic and willing to collaborate with multiple teams for testing.
