See how the Lakers vs. Nuggets: live stream, TV channel, start time

Who is playing

Denver @ Los Angeles

Current record: Denver 46-32; Los Angeles 31-46

What to know

The Denver Nuggets will take on the Los Angeles Lakers at 3:30 pm ET on Sunday at the Crypto.com Arena. With both teams losing their last game, they both have a little extra motivation to go into this competition.

The Nuggets were within significant distance but could not close the gap last Friday as they fell 136-130 to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Shooting guard Will Burton didn’t make much of a difference to Denver; Burton played 31 minutes but only eight points in 12 for 3.

Meanwhile, at halftime it was a 50-50 draw, but the New Orleans Pelicans were not level in the second half when Los Angeles met last Friday. It was close but no cigars for the Lakers as they fell to 114-111 near New Orleans. Despite the defeat, Los Angeles got a solid performance from junior forward LeBron James, who had 38 points in addition to eight boards. On LBJ’s afternoon it made five games in a row so he scored at least 36 points.

Denver is the favorite here with an expected 5.5-point win margin. Now may not be the best time to take the Nuggets against the spreads as they have dropped the Betters for the last two games in a row.

Denver is now 46-32 and the Lakers are 31-46. Denver is 18-13 after losing this year, Los Angeles 21-24.
