See how jazz vs. Thunder: TV channels, NBA live stream information, start time

Through 1 quarter

We saw some fireworks in a quarter as the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder combined for 72 points. Utah is in control with a 41-31 lead over Oklahoma City.

The Jazz are relying on junior forward Bojan Bogdanovich, who has 12 points in addition to two rebounds, and center Rudy Gobert, who has eight points, including three boards. A double-double would be Gobert’s fourth in a row.

Center Jeremiah has led the way for Robinson-Earl Thunder so far, as he has 11 points.

This is the highest point in Utah to go into the second quarter of this year.

What to know

The Oklahoma City Thunder have enjoyed the comfort of home in their last four games, but now they must be out on the road. They and the Utah Jazz will meet on April 6 at 9pm and at Vivint Arena without much rest after finishing yesterday’s games. Oklahoma City have not won a contest against Utah since Aug. 1, 2020, but they will be looking to end the drought on Wednesday.

The Thunder have certainly nailed it, but they managed to escape with a 98-94 win against the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday. The win came in the wake of a strong recovery to overcome an 82-67 deficit after the third quarter. Oklahoma City could attribute much of their success to junior forward Jelene Howard, who hit double-doubles on 24 points and 21 rebounds.

Meanwhile, it may take overtime to get the job done, but Utah finally got the result they were hoping for with a 121-115 win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday. The score at the break was 50-50, but Utah was the best team in the second half. They relied on the efforts of center-runner Rudy Gobert, who posted double-doubles on 22 points and 21 boards, and point guard Jordan Clarkson, who had 22 points and five assists in addition to five boards. This makes it six games in a row where Gobert has rebounded at least 11 times.

The Thunder need to know that they will fight an uphill battle against a 15-point spread. Despite the difficult sledding overall, the odds against them being spread on the road this season have been favorable. They are 27-11 ATS in the away game but only 49-27-3 in all.

The victories took Oklahoma City 24-55 and the Jazz 47-32. Oklahoma City is 9-14, Utah 29-17 after winning this year.
