Job Description

We are looking for a director to manage and assist the Akeneo Commercial Team with the goal of doubling our revenue in 2022 and beyond.

This role will be reported to our GM America and will be responsible for overseeing, coaching and growing a team of commercial AEs that are expanding rapidly. This team is playing a vital role in both our success, our outbound sales momentum and our inward demand conversion efforts. This role will be responsible for the vital possibilities for speeding up our deals and developing pipeline building strategies and effective sales conversion processes, which will impact our company’s goals year after year.

You will.

  • Hire, manage, coach and scale a team of commercial AEs
  • Lead the team to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual goals
  • Monitor and drive outbound sales speeds
  • Assist commercial AEs in developing prospecting and outreach strategies
  • Participate in the recruitment, interview and training process to help scale a fast-growing team
  • Develop and maintain monthly team forecasts
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing and other insider teams to build and convert pipelines
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with Commercial AEs to build more effective communication, understand training and development needs, and provide insights to improve team sales and activity performance.
  • Help create and lead training in all areas of the sales process
  • Participate in the Pipeline Review Meeting in collaboration with the Demand Generation Team in the Inbound Lead Campaign
  • Act as a role model in the sales company to uphold and implement the Achinio team’s policies, procedures and standards


  • 2+ years of sales management experience in eCommerce / Martek is required
  • Consistent track record of exceeding targets
  • Strong work ethic, motivated, and willing to constantly learn and grow
  • Growing interest as a folk director with a keen ability to connect with new and existing team members
  • Experience location through strategic value-based sales
  • Experience with MEDDIC preferred
  • Desire to jump into a fast scaling startup environment and create new teams, processes and functions within the organization
  • Effective pipeline generation strategy construction and driving experience
  • Willing to be comfortable and hands-on contributor
  • Improves the environment of a competitive team
  • Insights and abilities to learn quickly and run to hit the ground
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Able to evaluate performance both qualitatively and analytically
