Jesse Nelson tells fans that he gained weight on a US trip because he was addicted

Jesse Nelson has teased that while spending time in California he gained weight while working on new music before releasing his highly-anticipated debut album.

The singer-songwriter, 30, has been living side by side in the state in recent months, enjoying herself with friends during recording sessions for her single boy follow-up.

This included a trip to Malibur Beach earlier this week, where he posed for pictures with a group of friends lying in the sun, playing with them and posing for pictures.

And while he’s having an unforgettable time abroad, Jesse reveals how much he’s having a good time as he relaxes in his state of adventure.

He opened up in a video on Instagram, where he showed off the kitchen and pantry at his residence, which has rows of sweet jars and bottles of alcohol.

Jesse told fans in the clip: “So I’ve definitely kept about 100 stones since I was in America.” He then panned the food, explaining that it was too tempting for him.

In a recent video posted on social media platforms yesterday, the singer further explained: “I thought I’d show you the reason; Yes, sweet and alcoholic, literally. “

Jesse shares his preference for food in the United States, telling fans: “Friends don’t know why but when I’m in America, all I want to do is eat. You have the best food. “

The singer – who announced her departure from Little Mix in 2020 – continued to discuss her eating habits with fans, later discussing the pantry at her residence.

He referred to this particular house as “the devil”, then added: “I mean, there’s not really much here because we ate it all, well, I ate it all.”

Jesse further commented in the video that he tends to have breakfast when he’s bored, saying: “I only come here when I’m bored and I just eat my life.”

The singer is working on her debut album, her first solo single Boys – which was a collaboration with Nicki Minaj – since its release last year.

He hinted last month that new music would be released soon, with fans eagerly awaiting his next single – although a title or release date has not yet been announced by Jesse.
