With 10 games scheduled for Tuesday, it’s a busy day for NHL betting. The regular season is nearing its end, so there has been a shift to betting on the Stanley Cup
The Edmonton Oilers are sixth in the Western Conference and are trying to distance themselves from the playoff bubble teams fighting for the final wild card spots. Meanwhile, the San Jose Sharks are not in a position to make post-season but they can play spoilers.

Below are some NHL bets selected and analyzed for similarities between oilers and sharks.
Oilers vs. Shark Odds, Moneyline, Over / Under
Moneyline: Oilers-190 | Shark +155
Spread: Oilers -1.5 (+125) | Sharks +1.5 (-150)
Total: more than 6.5 (-120) Below 6.5 (+100)
Eulers vs. shark analysis
The Eulers have recently found their form, winning four in a row.
Edmonton’s previous game saw them beat Anaheim Ducks 6-1 in which Leon Driesitel scored his 50th goal of the season as he tried to chase Austin Mathews for the NHL lead. Connor McDavid also had one goal and two assists in the game.
McDavid led the league in points with 40 goals and 65 assists, followed by DrySite with 101 points overall.
Meanwhile, sharks have dropped 13th in the west and three in a row
They are losing 5-4 to the Dallas Stars, where Logan Couture scored his 22nd goal of the season. Timo Meyer leads San Jose with 31 goals and 36 assists.
The Eulers are sixth in the NHL with an average of 3.50 goals per game and the Sharks are 27th with 2.63. Both teams are relatively equal in keeping Pak out of the net, as Edmonton is 22nd with 3.21 goals per game, while San Jose is a little better at 21st with 3.18.
In contrast to the Pak line, the Eulers are 33-37 and 18-17 on the street, where the sharks are at home 35-33 and 16-19.
Some of the trends to watch are the favorites in the last 11 games in Edmonton, the over 11-0 and the last five in San Jose 5-0 when their opponents scored five or more goals in their previous game.
Oilers are all about crime.
When their crime is rumored, they win and when it is not, they are not. It’s as simple as that and at the moment Edmonton’s offense has scored at least four goals in each of their last seven games.
On the other end of the ice, sharks are not playing for anything other than their job. The danger of ignoring Edmonton San Jose is always there, but the Oilers should have enough frustration with their mid-season fight.
It looks like Edmonton should be managing sharks. Expect McDavid and DrySittle to be on the scoresheet as well.
